Between Buhari's "Next Level" And The "Atiku Plan" By Jerry King Nwobodo

If I where to score the Buhari manifesto otherwise called the "Next Level" plan as an academic presentation, I would score it an 'F' because it failled to highlight the challenges facing our dear country or outline tanganle solutions to the quagmire we have found ourselves.
As a ruling party their "Next Level" manifesto should have started from the ground point of achievements and plans to consolidate on the gains made in the past 3.5 years but they chose to blur the failures of this administration and sound more like an opposition party seeking to woo the masses against a failed incumbent.
The Buhari manifesto is simply 14 pages of rabble-rousing and a disgraceful disappointment centered upon social interventions intead of creating innovation driven economy
The Atiku Manifesto dubed "Lets Get Nigeria Working Again" was simply bespoke, very vast in its grasp of the challenges facing this nation and centered upon innovation and doversifying the economy.
My only grouse with the Atiku Plan is the reference to MDG's.
The Millenium development Goals as I am aware expired by 2015 and was replaced with the SDGs - Sustainable Development Goals that will run through 2030.
I dont know if this was a deliberate attempt to remind us that Nigeria failed in achieving any of the Millenium Development Goals or it is simply a honnest mistake.
Another issue I have with the "Atiku Plan" is that it is too academic. It could simply pass of as university thesis meant for the academia.
Apart from these grouses, I find the Atiku Plan very enlightening, belivable and achievable.

JIBRIL OF SUDAN AND THE REAL MEN CONTROLLING ASO ROCK By Jerry King Nwobodo

Many tales abound of a pseudo-human wearing the garb of our beloved president, assuming his posture and ultimately ardoning his looks.
What a bold assertion that Nigeria is being ruled by an imposter.
Could this be true or is this a fabrication from the pit of hell?
Let us examine the very foundation of this notion. From the begining, Gov. Ayo Fayose has been very vocal as a voice opposed to the government of President Buhari. During Buhari's one hundred and something days in the UK for medical treatment, Gov. Fayose made a bold statement. He said Buhari was dead and in the mortuary. He even claimed he had picture evidence.

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) aslo claimed that Muhammadu Buhari died in London. He detailed how the some people in an attempt to preserve the northern grip of power, went scouring for a body double.
Their search landed them in Sudan where the found one Jibrin who fit the body build and physique of president Buhari. He was recruited and worked on by plastic surgeons who created a perfect double for the allegedly late president.

Fast forward a few months later, Buhari made a triumphant return to his country, looking healthy and ready to continue his mandate.
But there was something fishy - the nation was never briefed about the nature of Buhari's illnes neither were the details of the financial burden the nation had to bear on account of the illness of their beloved president ever divulged. Buhari looked more healthy, had facial hair, could see without glasses and appeared 20 years younger. Even the size of his ears varied in great length from previously.

While cross section of Nigerians were visibly excited that the King of the jungle was back to his domain, a few people remained skeptical about the miraculous recovery of president Buhari from what some people refered to as poisonong.

On the president's return, he couldn't access his office as rats had infested his space. Of course when a lion leaves for so long, rats feel so comfortable. But the story many ordinary Nigerians believe is that the president's finger could not open the electronic door in Aso Rock. Some say the president had to stay away from his presidential office until technicians could recalibrate the electonic door to match the new occupant of Aso Rock.

There were also reports the Nigeria's First Lady, Aisha Buhari was pictured weeping over the assumed death of her husband but many news orgznizations were eirher warned or persuaded against carrying the story.

It is also curious than when Buhari's son who had a bike accident returned from treatments in Germany, his body language gave out the fact that the man in Buhari's garb wasn't his father. While he was emotional upon sighting his mom, he was largely indifferent on signting his supposed father and vice versa.

Though it sounds like tales by moonlight, it is largely believable and a lore on the streets as many Nigerians have come to believe the story that a man named Jibril from Sudan is occupying the Presidential Villa.

To further compound the situation, a Nigerian diplomat, Habibu Almu, believed to be responsible for contacting Jibril in Sudan was assasinated in Khartoum on orders from Abuja.

The question on the lips of many is why the government has refused to come clean on the health of the president and how much it cost the nation for his treatment abroad.
Why was the attachee in Khartoum murdered just about the time he was about to say the truth concerning the Jibril saga.

Right now many Nigerians are convinced that the occupant of Aso Rock is not the man many people voted for. More questions are being asked but no answer seems to be forth coming.

"The Hedge of Sanity" by Jerry King Nwobodo

For too many reasons, the human species own the most complex brain in our natural universe. Man has over time evolved into an ominously self-contrived anomaly who conjured defects and self inflicted uneasiness on both himself, his offspring and his own environment.
Of such is the malignant state of psychotic disparity and inordinate concord between this specie to the effect: non-adherence to the said contrived code at concord which portends a state of mal-behaviour and unacceptable psychosis.
So far, man has inflicted himself with one injurious ill portrayed as insanity and social malignancy. This false state thus created by man himself, which is one injurious ill, portrayed as insanity and social malignancy. It has kept man in a hideous web commanding him to a divergent point confining his exhilarating psychosis to an oscillatory constant and restricting his intellectual capabilities.
Invariably, it is without doubt that the existence of a mortal man is caged around his psychology since his premonitions and self inflicted commands preferably referred to as instincts emanate from a single electro-magnetic console of the mental state.
Furthermore, it is worthy of note that the mental state has thus been placed inside an imaginary hedge, Though superlative, this hedge has over time been misinterpreted. This well done with terminologies that seeks to portray the anomaly from a righteous perspective. These conjectures, phrases and terminologies which inadequately cloaks this imbalance in a mirage of orthodox acceptable ills of society coupled with psychological vulgarity seem to conceive such innuendo as: ‘psychotic break down’, ‘nervous impairment’, ‘unendurably social tendencies,’ and ‘defacement of mind’, (and to cut the long chase) skipping to a more admirable and less malevolent placido-conventional state known and understood by society even conceived and felt without the stress of awareness. It has wrecked free thoughts and confined the psychotic state from volatility and mobility to an unacceptable morbid existence. Today the mental state has deteriorated to a heartfelt melting point with lesser possibly of likely reforms.
So today’s psychologists accept and breed falsies that seem to soothe today’s mediocrity, freelancing according to the dictates of an unraveled mental state which is unacceptable and antagonistic to mental growth. For which  I suggest natural checks and balances which seem confusionist to total freedom that the mind enjoy leaving itself at loss, impairment and total blurry view.
Inconsequential, average ness has thus gone way below the ebb of classic measures because the average growth of intellectually vile specie has over time faced catastrophic restriction.

At the movie premiere of 'Deprived' by Cyril Odenigbo

I had a good time on Saturday 30th August at the Airport Valley International Hotel Enugu.
Cyril Odenigbo and the good people of Magnus Film Academy premiered their first movie 'Deprived' produced and directed by Cyril Odenigbo.
The story centers around the issue of water scarcity as faced by a rural community in Nigeria.
The sound quality is superb and cinematography is commendable.
Kudos to the Magnus Film Academy for this. Hope to see more and better films from them.

My xmas message

My Xmas message dedicated to the people of the street.
My heart goes out to the homeless and less
privileged this Christmas.
To those out there in the street who can't find
something to eat.
My heart pours out to my brothers in Central
African Republic, South Sudan, Somalia and Egypt
who cant celebrate because of hunger, death of
loved ones and Christians in Somalia who can't
celebrate Christmas because it is illegal in that
country.
And to all my readers and friends all over the world
I want to thank you for your support and
commendations. They've kept me going.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all.

Loving more than one at once

Its clinically impossible to love two people at once. The fact actually remains that our minds are only conditioned to love just one person in a lifetime. Those who try to love more than one at once suffer psychological trauma, emotional imbalance and tend to be unhappy with life.. In life many of us find that we fall in love more than once and sometimes this happens when we are already in another relationship. We still love our old partner but a new person steals our heart and tempts us away. It can also happen when we are single and meet two people with different qualities and wonder who would make the better partner. This often leads to an emotional dilemma that can cause considerable suffering and tear our lives apart as well as the lives of the people we are close to.Let’s look at the issues involved. If you have been reading my articles over the years or are familiar with my Facebook page I Am A Lover you will have realised that love isn’t something that comes and goes – it is a state of existence – in fact, the state of connection and oneness that bonds everybody to everything. We experience feelings of love when we remember that this is our true state of being. This means that we are in love with everybody! Our problem isn’t so much as falling in love, it is deciding who we should fall in love with. Coming back to the question, the first answer is yes, it is possible to be in love with more than one person, providing this is not about having our needs met. This throws up the question of what is called ‘special love’ – believing that there is just one perfect person who is our soul-mate. If in principle we can be in love with anyone, how and why should we choose just one person to spend our lives with?To answer this question we must ask ourselves what we expect from a partner and a relationship. Is it to fulfil our needs and take aware our anxieties and insecurities? Most relationships start in this way and the falling in love happens when those needs are met mutually by both partners. The problem is that if the relationship depends on those needs being met and we find that they are not, we might start looking for somebody new. We might still love aspects of our original partner but we believe we must fulfil some other important needs through another person. For instance we might love the reliability and responsibility of our existing partner but crave the rebelliousness, passion and risk-taking of another potential partner. In trying to choose one from the other we are falling into a split mind that is impossible to resolve because we are trying to have our needs met. I hope you can see that this is quite different from feeling love for all the people you meet in your life.To settle down with just one person means that we commit to forming a life-long partnership with them. In other words we recognise that a good relationship is not about having our needs met but working with a partner to heal our needs. The best way to do this is through honest and meaningful communication about the issues that really matter for both partners. If we can do this we will stop comparing people and believing that there is a perfect person who will take care of us.Although we could commit to virtually any person and have a good relationship, there will be people in life that we meet who are a better ‘fit’ for us than others. They will share similar values, interests and outlook on life and both partners will find it relatively easy to enter into a healing relationship. The more healing that happens in such a relationship, the more we would love other people, without trying to get anything from them.

Will Our World Ever End? By Jerry King Nwobodo

The mention of that date sparked fear in the minds of people. They were scared to hell and could not come to terms with the fact that their dear world was coming to an abrupt end. While many mocked this doomsday idea, others took to preparing solemnly for the end of the world’
The date was May 21st 2011. it was the day our world was expected to end, Christians all over the world had come to believe that the world would end that day due to so much sponsored publicity and Biblical revelations pointing to the fact that a sublime message  in the Bible was the answer to the question, when will the end come?. This message was made popular by the concerted efforts of the Family Radio Impetrated, an organization headed by new generation preacher Harold Camping. He and his organization had spread the message throughout the globe with print, electronic and internet media. They so succeeded that even children as little as five years in most parts of the globe could sense the turbulence in the air.
The whole world waited for the day and it came. The day seemed so normal and every one waited for five thirty in the evening. It was so amazing that the day passed without any strange turbulence in the skies, no outburst of meteor shower, neither was there any sign of the Armageddon except for a few reports of earthquakes in New Zealand which of course is no strange phenomenon.
In the United States of America where this hypothesis originated, the revelation was received in  amidst mixed feelings as some received this message with both hands, some  others remained startled at this revelation. Although some Christians believed this message, others shoved it aside arguing that the end was not near. Those who believed used the shortest time available to prepare for the end. Some sold their belongings, others sold their houses while others prayed in their cars begging God for purification. This Doomsday Propaganda received a huge amount of criticism from various quarters. A large bulk of the criticism emanated from the Christian faith. Most Christians all over the globe refused to believe that the end was near. Others dwelt on the fact that the message was too sublime and unclear, open to any interpretation which could be wrong,
A huge amount of Christians dwelt on the fact that the end of the world was never announced in the Bible since Jesus Christ never knew when the world would end. It is now over 60 days from .doomsday there seems to be no doom lurking around except for a few natural disasters in New Zealand, and China which is not abnormal.
The world might surely outlive all of us and people like Harold Camping would cool their heads and shut their mouths because a doomsday preacher is a bringer of evil and maybe true to the words of  T. S. Elliot,” this is the way the world ends, not with a bang but with a whimper” and according to Ted Turner, “We're gonna stay on until the end of the world. And when that day comes we'll cover it, play Nearer My God to Thee and sign off “.

Sharing feeds

Start subscribing and sharing your feeds

Now that you understand what feeds are and you have a feed reader to use, you need to start gathering feeds to start reading. Newspapers, blogs, magazines, or journals — start hitting them all up in your browser to find exactly if they publish RSS feeds, and secondly what their feed details are so you can put them in your feed reader. Now, you might be asking — isn’t there a faster way to do this? Well, there is, actually. A format was developed for people to back up and / or share their feeds all at once. Its called “OPML”. If you had a list of feeds that you wanted to share with me, for example, all feed readers will be able to ‘export’ your list in a format called “OPML”. Then, you could send it to me, and I could “import” your OPML list into my feed readers, and la voila! I have all of your feeds. If you have friends who have similar interests you could share each other’s OPML’s. Sometimes you can find OPML’s that are publicly shared on the web, but these are few and far between (if anyone can tell me different let me know). Sometimes people will also publish their feeds through Google’s feed reader. Share.opml.org is another great resource — but not for finding OPML lists per se. Rather, its a way for you to share your OPML files, and in turn, actually discover what other feeds people are subscribing to, and in turn, who is subscribing to which feeds. Since there is a way to see which users have similar interests you can actually lists from individuals who have a feed list like your own.
